Terms of Service
Last updated: August 6, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Central Massachusetts Youth Football and Cheer Conference ("CMYFCC," "we," "us") public website, secure portal, and related CMYFCC-operated forms and online tools (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
Who may use the Services
The public website is available to the community. Protected tools are for authorized adults, including association officers, coaches, registrars, conference leaders, and parents or guardians completing an allowed process. You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and access only the information and associations you are authorized to use. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Accounts & access
You may sign in with Google or with an email and password. An association's authorized officers may request or approve access for other people acting for that association. CMYFCC may verify, limit, suspend, or remove access that is misused, inaccurate, or no longer authorized.
Safety standards & training
CMYFCC maintains conference safety requirements and reviews coach credentials, but many courses and certifications are provided by independent organizations. Coach education follows National AYF/AYC and applicable sport-specific requirements, with NAYS concussion and bullying-prevention training used for added CMYFCC scrutiny. Users must follow the current official CMYFCC rules, National AYF/AYC requirements, event instructions, and applicable law.
Training, credentials, website content, and portal tools are not medical advice and do not replace evaluation by a qualified medical professional.
Weather, WBGT & field-condition tools
Weather and WBGT information in the Services supports field decisions; it is not an emergency-monitoring service or an automatic all-clear. Coaches and association leaders must follow MIAA practice restrictions and CMYFCC WBGT directives, including required activity restrictions and additional water or rest breaks. They must also consider current field conditions and required on-site readings and use the most protective applicable restriction. Stop activity and seek emergency assistance when conditions or a participant's symptoms require it.
Registration & fees
- Associations register teams and pay conference dues and seasonal fees through the Services.
- Fee amounts and the rate card are set by the CMYFCC board.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. You may pay in full or, where offered, pay a deposit with the balance invoiced separately.
- Refunds, credits, and adjustments are handled at the conference's discretion in accordance with board policy and applicable law.
Insurance certificates
Certificate-of-insurance documents generated through the Services reflect the conference's master policy and are provided as a convenience. The authoritative certificate is the one issued by the conference's insurance carrier/broker; coverage is subject to the terms of the underlying policy.
Submitted information, documents & signatures
You represent that you are authorized to submit information about your association, team, coaches, or participants and that the submission is accurate. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive information. Electronic signatures, uploaded documents, review decisions, and related audit records may be preserved as part of the official conference record and may not be editable after submission or approval.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the Services, attempt to access data you are not authorized to view, or disrupt the Services.
- Do not submit false, misleading, or unlawful information.
- Use the Services only for legitimate CMYFCC administration.
Intellectual property
CMYFCC names, logos, and content are the property of the conference or its licensors and may not be used without permission. The Services are operated for CMYFCC by Gentoo Logic.
Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Services, third-party data, or communications will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available for every field decision. If website language conflicts with an adopted CMYFCC rule, official policy, or event directive, the current adopted rule, policy, or directive controls.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CMYFCC and its volunteers, board members, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Terms.
